Kikimora

Kikimora is a house spirit in Slavic folklore. Artwork is by Vladimir Arzhevitin. Kikimora usually lives behind the stove, under the floor or in the attic of the house. It appears in the house, and it does constant mischiefs which causes frights; it prevents sleep by rustle, roar, squeak, cry, breaks dishes, throws out the underground bulbs, unfold clothes, drives horses at night, and cuts chicken feathers and wool from sheep.
