Bruges (Brugge) is a city in the northwest of Belgium. It is the capital of the province of West Flanders in the Flemish region of Belgium. Throughout the ages , Bruges has retained its medieval architecture, which dates back earlier than the 14th century.The historic city centre is a prominent World Heritage Site World Heritage Site of UNESCO. The city is often referred as the 'Venice of the North'
