Florida Key Lime Pie

Another yummy postcard, via direct swap. The recipe sounds extremely easy to make. As of July 1st 2006, Key Lime Pie is the 'Official Pie of the State of Florida'. The dish is named after the small key limes, the juice of which is reacted with condensed milk, which causes the filling of this pie to thicken. The origin of this pie has been traced back to the 19th century, in Key West, Florida.
