This card shows a farmstead from the village of Yarshiv, Kamianets-Podilsky district, in Khmelnitsky region, in Ukraine early 19th-20th century. The ladies chatting amongst themselves are wearing their traditional clothing which shows ethnic Ukrainian embroidery, and headdress known as 'Ochipok'. I have very few cards which gives a glimpse of village life, this is one of them.
